Demo PSA meeting September 5th 2023
I demonstrated portrait over collage at the Brisbane meeting of the Pastel Society of Australia on Tuesday evening. The collage elements of a piece of sheet music ("I'll Take You Home Again Kathleen") and purple tissue paper, are affixed on a piece of Art Spectrum Board, and layered with AS pastel primer. I also textured the area of the head with Atelier Modelling Compound. The PSA Brisbane group meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Community Hall of the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds. All welcome - $5 entry for members and $10 entry for non-members.

Interview with Jim and Raquel Cobb
Here is a link to an interview with Jim and Raquel Cobb - Jim created Chroma and manufactures art materials in Australia. Thank you Trevor. https://the-art-supplies-experts.captivate.fm/episode/an-interview-with-jim-and-raquel-cobb We are fortunate here in Australia to have had Jim spend his life creating high quality materials for us to use. Hope you can find some time to enjoy this 20 minute yarn. This image is a study I did when Jim posed for me.
