I demonstrated portrait over collage at the Brisbane meeting of the Pastel Society of Australia on Tuesday evening.
The collage elements of a piece of sheet music (“I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen”) and purple tissue paper, are affixed on a piece of Art Spectrum Board, and layered with AS pastel primer. I also textured the area of the head with Atelier Modelling Compound.

The PSA Brisbane group meets the first Tuesday of the month in the Community Hall of the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds. All welcome – $5 entry for members and $10 entry for non-members.
