We can’t hold out much longer –
the clock does tick and tock.
We need them back from sidelines –
those men we did unfrock.
That ban we did impose
when we put them in the dock
has meant we’ve lost some games!!!
Roll on the Limbo Rock!
The public’s none the wiser
that to us ‘twas not a shock –
news of the tricks we use in games
we simply failed to block.
Steve Smith’s passed through the tears;
and statements some did mock.
We’ll put him back as Cricket’s face –
An all-round Aussie jock.
