I explored the same theme again (as was posted yesterday) but with a different base colour. This time I used a pink handmade rough paper, on the same size canvas, and a different song for the music collage.
I used cerulean blue in the sky and pthalo turquoise in the larger lower area of the canvas.
Texture shapes were added through stencils, the same motif then painted, and a glaze of quinacridone magenta placed. Also, the horizon was worked with tree shapes and lines.
Dry brushing of colour with a palette knife enhanced the texture of the rough paper.
Birds painted in and more dry brushing applied over the textured shapes.
