The third Inktober theme is “bulky’ – I decided to print a feather in the ink as contrast to a heavy box. I found an old watercolour pad from years ago – perfect for these little plays with pigmented inks – it’s a little heavier than 300 gsm.
This is the next one in the Inktober challenge – using pigmented inks on 300 gsm watercolour paper:
Again I used a liner brush to draw the motif and added a few black ink lines with a pen.
I have just discovered a challenge – it is called Inktober and there is a theme every day in October to play with using inks. I am using Atelier Artists’ Pigmented Inks and am going to try to do a small work every day – have had to catch up!
